Yes Ladies and Gentleman.....It's true, Dusty and I are ENGAGED!!!

We got engaged on Christmas night. And I'm sure some of you are dying to hear about how he proposed to me. We had just got done eating dinner and Dusty's parents and brother were leaving to go to town so it was just Dusty and I alone hanging out at his house. Well, all of a sudden Dusty says, "my parents are back now let's go down statirs to meet them and I say ok not thinking anything of it". Dusty opens up the door to downstairs and the statirs are covered with candles all the way down. (I'm in complete shock and can't believe what I am seeing). So I walk down the stairs and there are more candles on the floor in the shape of a circle. (It was beautiful and romantic)! He had this sweet love song playing that we both like. We were standing in the middle of the georgeous circle of candles holding each other close while he's telling me how much he loves me and adores me. Then he gets down on one knee with the ring and says "Lisa will you marry me"? And of course I said YES! He put the ring on my finger and we kissed. I started crying because it was so beautiful and I was overwheled with joy because I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. And it happened just like a fairytale. He totally surprised me. I mean I knew we were going to get engaged soon, but I didn't know exactly when. It was one of the best moments in my life. I love Dusty Daniel First so much, he is amazing!

We are getting married on July 14, 2007 in Dickson, TN. So save this date so you can come to our wedding. I love and miss my friends.

Wow so I know I need to update. It's been like two months since I've been on xanga. So yeah as many of you know I am now at Oral Roberts Univeristy in Tulsa, OK. So far I like it for the most part. It reminds me of a much larger Teen Mania since of course Ron Luce and Dave Hasz both went there. My classes are really easy right now. My teachers are amazing people. They pray before class starts and when class ends and really care about your education. I was expecting this to be like a public school where people are mean to you but I have to remind myself that I'm at a private university so people are nice and can talk about God. Oh and the food here is so good much better than Teen Mania food. I guess the hardest part about this whole transtion is manking new friends becasue I miss my friends (Danielle, Monique, Shabana) at Teen Mania so much. But slowly I'm getting to know the girls on my floor and make new friends.

I work at Charlotte Russe on the weekends for those of you that don't know. I like it there so far. My job is easy. I greet people, tell them about our sale, make sure people don't shoplift, cashier, fitting room, and shoes. The hardest part is standing on my feet in dress shoes all day long. Kinda reminds me of an ATF but not really. Dusty got a job at Express. Yeah Dusty and I are doing great. He is amazing and I love him so much. We just celebrated our 3 month anniversary. I know it's a long time. We are talking about getting married next summer if everything works out. I'm not going to alumni weekend just so you know. One of my close friends from home is getting married that weekend. Sorry friends I'll have to see you another time. So yeah that's basically me life right now. Call me if you want to know more.

Hey Hey Everyone......... So, Dusty and I have been dating now for one long month as of July 1st. Isn't that so exciting. I love dating, it's great! Dusty is so wonderful and I love him so much.

So a little update on my life lately: Last weekend Dusty and I went to visit Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK. They have a beautiful, well maintained campus. I really like the city of Tulsa alot. It's not too big and not too little. Oh and get this there is a Wal-Mart right across the street from ORU. How convenient is that. We both got accepted and will start attending on August 14th which is also the same day as Dusty's birthday. We graduate from the HA on August 12th and head straight to college on the 14th. We only have a one day break. It will be a fast transition but will all work out just fine. While in Tulsa we stayed at Dusty's cousin's (Vince) house. We had a great time filled with meaningful conversations. We also went on a double date to the movies with Jesse from the Pillar band. It was alot of fun and really good to see him. From Tulsa we went to my house in TN. It was nice and relaxing to be at home and see my family. I got to visit Ms. Erika Johns and Ms. Jill Muller at their new home in Brentwood, TN. We also went to visit our best friend Dan Sunderland and his fiance named Jamie. We spent the day with them, went swimming, and ate dinner with them.

So now I'm back on campus working in the SAC serving food to the missionaries and campers. My job is so easy. It's nothing compared to working an ATF event. For 4th of July Dusty and I are going to San Antonio to visit Dusty's old roommate. We are also planning to go to the Riverwalk. I like the Riverwalk alot. So yeah this is what's been going on lately in my life. Hope you enjoyed reading this. Peace
